EQM one step ahead in freestyle judging

08-02-2010 21:10

EQ-Musync is an 'all in one' software/hardware system that provides all of the following (required) information (real time) during the 6 minutes long dressage Freestyle test to music resulting in:

- a 100% objective analysis of the music used
- a percentage of synchronisation between the music and the combination (horse and rider) in all the performed gaits and transitions.

The result is that judges will receive the EQ-Musync®© horse data analysis (HDA) and musical data analysis (MDA) reports immediately after the test; scored in percentages (HDA) and marked in qualifications (MDA). Jury members can now concentrate more easily and focus completely on the total combination of horse and rider. All variables which are measurable in this aspect (and there are many) in relation to the music used and the choreography are covered for the maximum measurable portion by EQM.

With EQ-Musync®© all unquantifiables will disappear. This means an accurate, measurable and scientific result will soon become available; a standard which will satisfy every rider, trainer, coach, jury member, national and international federation, spectator, stakeholder and sponsor.

EQ-Musync®© can also be used for training and educating dressage judges in the near future.

The website will soon publish new videos with analysis of Anky van Grunsven with Krack C, Edward Gal and Moorland's Totilas, Adelinde Cornelissen with Parzival and Laura Bechtolsheimer.
