Ambassadors: Rieky Young
Rieky Young grew up around horses. Her father Jan van Osch owned a stable in Vorstenbosch and trained his own trick riding team named ‘The Future Guys’. Rieky joined ‘The Future Guys’, but has a passion for dressage and began competing. At the beginning of the 90s Rieky began reining. Today she is heroine in the Dutch reining and won many Dutch and European titles. Rieky Young and Burnt Starlight are a great asset to the Dutch reining team. They won the Lawson Trophy in Germany in 2004 and was the number one on the World Priority List of the NRHA USA and won at the CRI in Deurne. A highlight move of Burnt Starlight are his spins. “I need to have a firm seat before he starts spinning, because he turns so quickly that I have to take care I am not falling of my horse. But he is a nice horse and one I can show a good performance and he is always doing his best in the training.” Says Rieky when talking about Burnt Starlight.
